Pirate Parties with Captain Billy Blackboots and The Black Rose

Captain Billy Blackboots and The Black Rose can come to your house for a pirate party (read their listing in our directory here). We've been to a couple of boys pirate birthdays that featured The Black Rose and it was a lot of fun for all the kids.
Captain Billy Blackboots starts off by inducting the kids in as pirates, making them walk the plank. They then have to prove themselves worthy as pirates by playing pirate tug-of-war, pirate soccer (pushing a ball between a couple of cannons with foam swords) and then doing a treasure hunt.
Below are some photos from the two parties we have been to, followed by a video of the tug-of-war in action.
The first photo above has Captain Billy Blackboots introducing his pirate prodigies to The Black Rose and getting them up to speed with how pirates talk. There's lots of "arrring" at this stage in the proceedings.
The photo above is another shot of the The Black Rose. It's a trailer which is towed to the party venue by the Captain's alter ego.
The final photo above shows the pirate tug-of-war. Captain Billy Blackboots breaks the pirates up into two teams and gets the adults to help out as well, ensuring each team wins twice.
