Kidzstuff Website Relaunch April 2009

The Kidzstuff web directory and blog was "relaunched" in April 2009 with a new design and the addition of blog and competition sections.
This website was originally started when I acquired the kidzstuff.co.nz and kidsstuff.co.nz domain names in February 2007 after they had expired. I managed to get a copy of the data from the previous website and quickly put up a site with websites and businesses listed on it similar to how the previous one had worked, intending to regularly update and review listings. However other projects beckoned, I was busy with other work and Kidzstuff got put on the back burner.
Early in 2009 I decided I'd better do something about the directory and started to work on a new website that looked nicer and worked better. The result is what you see today. There is still currently a lot of work to do because all the listings need to be reviewed. As at the date of this posting there are around 1000 business listings to review so there's a lot of work ahead.
On a daily basis I will be reviewing a handful of existing listings (by writing content about them, linking to their websites and updating contact details) and adding two or three new websites to the directory. Any existing listings that I cannot find websites for will be removed and ideally each website will belong to only one or two categories.
