Auckland City Art Gallery
The Auckland Art Gallery has the most extensive collection of national and international art in New Zealand. It exhibits work from its collection along with a programme of national and international touring exhibitions. It can be a good place to take your kids on the weekend or on a rainy day if they are interested in art.
Entry to the art gallery is free but there is an admission charge for special exhibitions. The gallery is open daily from 10.00am to 5.00pm, every day except for Christmas Day.
