The City Cake Company sells cakes and desserts in Auckland with an emphasis on wedding cakes, and birthday and celebration cakes including 21st birthdays, christening, engagements, anniversary cakes, children's birthday cakes and corporate cakes.

There are a variety of themed cakes available for children's birthdays in two sizes (20cm and 25cm). Some examples are Bart Simpson; Bratz; Dora the Explorer; Noddy; Spiderman; Thomas the Tank Engine; The Wiggles; Pooh Bear; Barbie; and My Little Pony.
Both the Takapuna and Mt Eden stores are open seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6:00pm; 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday; and 11:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday.
