Kiddiccino at the Island Bay Presbyterian Church
Run by young mums from the Island Bay Presbyterian Church in Wellington, Kiddiccino offers mums and their kiddies a chance to hang out together and experience God's wonderful world through music, movement and other hands-on activities.
The usual structure includes a few songs, an activity - eg playdough, musical instruments, storytime, craft - morning tea then open playtime. Open playtime is set up into different areas of play for different age groups. There are bouncers available for very young babies.
Morning tea for the children is a simple affair with plain biscuits, fruit and crackers. Morning tea for the grown ups includes home baking and tea/plunger coffee!
