Kindermusik by MusikBox is an exciting, fun-filled music and movement education program for children aged 0-7 and their families. It encourages whole child development, teaches pre-keyboard skills and promotes a life-long love of music.
About MusikBox
MusikBox was started by Ruth Townsend who raised four children after a science degree, a career in nursing and midwifery. After raising the children, she re-trained as a primary teacher specialising in music and took responsibility for classroom music, choirs, musical productions, a curriculum delivery plan and school assemblies. She now offers one of the first Kindermusik programs in New Zealand.
Courses/Programmes
MusikBox has courses for children aged 0 to 18 months (Village); 1.5 to 3.5 years (Our Time); 4 to 6 years (ABC Music and Me); and 5 to 7 years (Kindermusik for the young child).
