Museum of Wellington City and Sea tells the intriguing stories of Wellington, giving an insight into the intriguing social and cultural history of Wellington.
Housed in the iconic Bond Store on Wellington’s waterfront, the Museum of Wellington is dedicated to the preservation and study of Wellington’s rich social and cultural history. It provides a backdrop for the permanent display of the people and events that have made Wellington what it is today.
Activites for children include a free history detective fun sheet and sticker or balloon; having a themed birthday party at the museum; meet Paddy the Wanderer; or take a special kids tour including the free kids' tour at 11am on the last Sunday of every month.
