Snowplanet is an indoor ski field near Silverdale in Auckland.
Opening Hours
Snowplanet is open as follows:
- School holidays and public holidays: 8am to 10pm
- Monday to Friday: 10am to 10pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 8am to 10pm
Prices
There are a number of price options available for entry and renting equipment and clothing, with different prices for adults and for children and students. Refer to their pricing page for more details. After clicking through to their website using the link below, move your mouse over the "Snowplanet" menu and select "Ticket Prices". They also have winter and year passes which can be found on the "Snowplanet" -> "Membership" page.
Lessons and Coaching
Snowplanet's Volkswagen Snow Academy has a team of qualified instructors to teach you on their dedicated beginners slope. They have group lessons, private lessons, race and freestyle coaching, after school and school holiday programmes, and high performance coaching.
School Holidays Programme
Snowplanet has a school holiday programme for children aged 5 to 12 years with 5 days of lessons / practise time for $279 per child. Each day consists of 2 hours instruction, rental equipment and admission to the snowdome. On the final day children enjoy a graduation party with complimentary lunch where the kids will be awarded with their certificate of achievement. Children's Parties
They also have a Kids Party Pack for birthday parties which includes a Child Day Pass, Rental Equipment and a celebratory Kids Meal in the Mountain View Café. This is also for children 4 to 12 years old.
