Whangaparoa Narrow Gauge Railway
The Whangaparaoa Narrow Gauge Railway is located in Stanmore Bay in Whangaparaoa and is open during the weekends and school holidays although it is closed in July and August. It opens from 10am to 4pm with the first train at 10.30am and the last train at 4pm.

The news section on the website is updated roughly once a month and the photos section contains a number of photos of the trains and where the ride goes.
There is a party / group picnic site available and the railway provides chairs, tables and a shelter roof. The party site must be booked in advance and groups of 12+ people are required.
